Cancellation & Refund Policy

For Service Takers: 

Editorial Services: For advance payment received for editorial services, availed by any user, E.L.A. Project will be liable for providing a refund if the assignment, as per the terms agreed upon by the organization and the user, is not sent to the user by the agreed upon time or 8 weeks from the receipt of payment. 

After the receipt of the payment, no refund/cancellation requests will be entertained from any user during the agreed upon timeline for the completion of an assignment.

For Donations:

No refund/cancellation requests for the donated amount by any donor will be entertained for donations either in cash or cheque form or through the online payment gateway after the donation is accepted. In case of Online Payment Gateway service providers, we may evaluate such a request if there is a fraud notification from our Payment Gateway Service Providers. Also, in case of an unlikely event of an erroneous donation E.L.A Project will respond to the donor within 30 working days of receiving a valid request for refund from the donor. The timely refund of the donation will depend upon the type of credit card/banking instrument used during the transaction. The donor will have to send E.L.A Project a written request  for a refund at its official email address within 1 day of making the donation – admin@elaproject.org along with payment receipt and personal details necessary for initiating the refund.
