Project Knowledge

Project Knowledge focuses on resource generation for scholars and students alike to help them avail resources for educational and research purposes. Started as a Facebook feed to create awareness among scholars about Open Access and general practices of academic publishing, Project Knowledge has quickly shaped itself as an academic platform that catalogues Open Access resources made available to scholars by various institutions and organizations around the world during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is itself an Open Access resource—a permanent database of OA resources: https://ellids.com/project-knowledge/—to be freely availed by all.

There are many other organizations worldwide who have been working with the vision of making education free and accessible for all. Such ventures work on different levels and platforms—repositories, encyclopedias, podcasts, videos, lectures, catalogues, journals, events, etc.—to provide free access to knowledge. Project Knowledge is an initiative to enlist all such endeavours on one platform for dissemination to scholars. Regular updates on new and time-sensitive resources are also posted on our facebook feed – https://www.facebook.com/journal.llids.

We have chosen a simple searchable table format to catalogue Open Access research resources in our database. Users are encouraged to explore the same through subject specific keywords as well as the thematic categories it has been organized in:
